Designs
can be submitted either hand drawn or computer generated. We accept
artwork in
Mac or PC formats. We recommend that files be sent
on a Zip Disc or a CD. We accept EPS files and Photoshop formats,
but these will need to be converted to Vector
format and you will have an art charge.
The
best format for us to work with is vector artwork. Vector
artwork is created by plotting X/Y coordinates and connecting those
points together. The result is a very clean logo that can
be resized without losing any quality, as opposed to Rastor artwork,
which
is generated
by creating a grid of pixels and filling each
pixel with color. When
Rastor artwork is resized, the pixels just get bigger, creating
a blurry effect.
Please
include all font files (or convert all type to outlines) and a
color printout of your
design along
with black-and-white
camera ready artwork of all logos to be produced. Photocopies,
faxes, letterheads, business cards, etc. will not be accepted. If
you are unable to provide vectorized, camera-ready logos, additional
charges are necessary.
Please
indicate on your artwork the ink color that you would like.. Custom
Pantone colors are available at an additional charge. If
you cannot send electronic artwork, a simple line drawing
with color pencil or crayons will work as a starting point
for your design. Additional
artwork or changes to your artwork in any way, will be
billed at a rate of $50.00 per
hour. Please
call for a price estimate. |
